How to Submit Scores

To Submit Record Attempts to VGS via YouTube/Twitch TV

  1. Please fill out this form.  All information is required and must be filled in.  You only have to fill this out once – before the first time you submit to Video Game Scoreboard.
  2. Fill out the form on this page if you are submitting a single game (or a handful of games on different platforms.  If you are submitting a large quantity of records at once, please use this spreadsheet, found here, and fill out the fields for all the record attempts you are submitting.   If you are submitting for the monthly contest, use this form.
  3. If you are submitting an excel sheet with scores, please email your excel file to submissions@videogamescoreboard.com along with links to your YouTube Video(s)/Streams.
  4. YouTube/Streams must follow requirements found here as well as normal recording rules found here.
  5. If your record attempt is not the only thing on the recording, please let us know time stamps for the record attempt you want us to count on each video.
  6. You will be notified of any questions we find with the paperwork or stream.

To Submit Record Attempts to VGS via CD/DVD/BluRay/SD Card/Flash Drive, etc.

  2. Fill out the form on this page if you are submitting a single game (or a handful of games on different platforms.  If you are submitting a large quantity of records at once, please use this spreadsheet, found here, and fill out the fields for all the record attempts you are submitting.   If you are submitting for the monthly contest, use this form.
  3. Mail all items (digital media storage device, required info doc and spreadsheet) to:

    2373 N.W. 185th, Suite 423
    Hillsboro, OR 97124
    If you are submitting an excel sheet with scores, please email your excel file to submissions@videogamescoreboard.com along with information on when you are shipping the physical media to us.
  4. Your recordings must follow all requirements found for the platforms as well as general recording rules.
  5. If your record attempt is not the only thing on the recording, please let us know time stamps for the record attempt you want us to count on each video.
  6. If you have multiple recordings on the digital media you submit, please label them clearly with your name and the name of the game.
  7. If your record attempt is not the only thing on the file (ie. you have several attempts before you get the attempt you submit to us) please let us know time stamps for the record attempt you want us to count on each video.
  8. You will be notified of any questions we find with the paperwork or recording.

All recordings for record submissions must follow the rules found here.  There are platform specific recording rules in addition to normal recording rules.  Please check under Documentation for more information.

I have a bunch of arcade scores on a sd card..(showing the full game as well as the dipswitch settings for the game. I’d like to help and be a part of the site..(I’d like to be a ref..and a “live tournement director”I’d also have tons of time to review submitted tabes(as I am a care giver by nature…)

Hello, I’m Shawne Vinson from Sacramento, California, and thanks calling me for the news on VGS. I just got the DVD Recorder, to make my home performance of my high score records. I’m glad you got an address, so I’m gonna send the post mail and see.

And hey, actually by the way, I have 127 records on Twin Galaxies for now.

As long as the score and gameplay can be clearly seen, it will count. If it’s not clearly visible and there are questions, it will be difficult.

What game are you looking for?
