Several New Scoreboards Added

vgs-article-rotation2-650With the addition of the Wikipad device and an upcoming MOGA Device for Android as well as MAME tracks, we’ve added a number of scoreboards for platforms.

Those scoreboards include:

The purpose of the Arcade/MAME Scoreboard is many players have said they wish to see how their MAME scores stack against arcade and vice-versa.  This board will allow players who submit to us to see how they stack up on the same variations whether its played on an arcade cabinet or on MAME.  At the same time, we’ve separated out the scores into their own scoreboards, one for Arcade only and one for MAME only, that way people can compare against the same system if they so choose.

All of the scoreboards will be having scores added to them on a weekly, if not daily basis, as we catch up on scores we received from PAX and more scores are submitted to the site.

We look forward to serving you. If you have any suggestions as to how we can improve or if you want to see other games, variations, scoreboards, etc, added, please email those suggestions to info@videogamescoreboard.com

Accepting Submissions for All Systems/Devices/Games

accepting-all-consoles

We are pleased to announce that we will be accepting submissions on any system and any game starting today.

We have received several requests for us to add other consoles to our site and we are working towards that. At this point, we will be adding systems and games as players submit their scores to us. So if you have a score on Joust for the Atari 2600, send it to us. We’ll add the system to the list of systems we’re tracking and add the variation recorded on and go from there.

To help expedite the process, you are encouraged to submit the variations/system prior to submitting your score, to our request for variations forum, found here: http://forum.videogamescoreboard.com/forums/requested-variations.9/ If you choose not to create a post on the forum requesting the system, game and variation, you must provide the requested game variation including but not limited to rules, settings, etc. with your video submission. This should be included in the spreadsheet sent in with the video submission. We would also like to note that we reserve the right to reject a new game/variation dependent upon a joint consensus of staff in regards to the variation.

We have recently added tracking for Intellivision, Android systems, Atari 7800, NES and other systems through player submissions.

If you have any questions, please visit our forums and ask them there, or email us at info@videogamescoreboard.com

We look forward to receiving your submissions.
